A loss.......the feeling of it

Ever felt the feeling of being denied.........whatever it is....losing something  that belongs to you.....and you are willing to swear to god thats its yours and just because  you don't have it in black and white.....and no backup....your words are being refuted......ah well anyways its just worldly things..... its best to let go rather than to blow things up !!!! maybe now in this time nothing can be proven  but  it will in the hereafter(akhirat)whoever is innocent shall prevail !!!!!but for now its a pain.....

In my lifetimes I've had my fairshare of sadness.....losses......hurts.....being denied all that makes up what life is all about.......Yes ...happiness too not denying......BUT I wonder if ever my mere existence....in this lifetime..if at all I'm loved for what I am OR just for the contributions of my selfless self...if ever at all...I wonder.
Sometimes the feeling of being so lonely.......so alone in the true sense of the word is so painful.... I guess the ever real love that I ever had was from my late mom........As a human being ...yes... I am not perfect I have my flaws too but TO those around me ALL I  have  are my boundless loves for everyone .....being taken for granted or not I LOVE ALL OF YOU and let whatever remaining days or years  Allah have set for me......all I have are loving  all of you gettimg the same back in return does not matter much to me....

Lately I am unable to upload pics  of what I cook for the family for some  unavoidable reasons  but will do so again once the times permit.......so there goes...... for now......byeeee

A new addition

A new addition to the family arrived today at around noon........after nearly 3 months of waiting......nope its not a new baby.......or a new in-law but in the form of a car......a sleek Perdana V6......yes!!!
A car  that was  part of a retirement benefits that my sister  was provided with    paid with a token sum.....after being in service for 35 years in the civil service !!!!..........its a silver coloured beauty......

ole ole for lunch again

THe whole day were spent shopping today as usual me and my two kid sisters....... first stop was Empire  Shopping  in Subang Jaya.... for lunch at The Ole Ole Bali..this seems to be our current favourite dig for meals....lunch was  set Bumbu ayam ...... cumi mentumis ...... ayam mempanggang..typical balinese dish.....just highly recommended.... sumptuous.....delicious and it comes in generous portions.......

After lunch...we headed for the nearby Subang Parade........this time for real time shopping .........my sis for cosmetics.......I had a dizzy time at the ladies dept. where red color rules the space where mostly the blouses are richly in red color for the coming Chinese New Year festival are in full swing !!! so I settled for a red shirt from Joan Ellen....nice buy  in time to celebrate ........nice going eh !!!!

On the way back to Shah Alam  we stopped at Tesco.......and this to Poh Kong jewellers..........where my sis got a nice set of ankle bracelet and  wrist bracelet......with my other sis and I we fell for two nice onyx stone rings..... just beautiful.......nice shopping which left a big hole in the pocket!!!!!!! till then byeee

Mini mini.....celebration

Just for the fun of it ..we had  small fun with a mock bithday celebration for my little adrable Djan this evening  who likes birthday cakes ......thats what its all about'....... My sis bought a blueberry cheese cake from Secret Recipe and I just cooked   fried mee hoon.... and we had a spelendid time  with Djan's playful antics!!!   just adorable.........thats Djan our darling little boy!!

Malaysian Passport

Was at the immigration dept. this morning till noon .......applying for new passports which had expired.....mine and my two boys....the whole process from filling the form...submitting ...then paying ......and waiting for the new passport was just a breeze under less than three hours......the crowd today was big.. considering it was  the week-end but everything was really smooth....thanks to the efficient officers on duty.. from counter 1 to 11. Altogether in less than four hours we had our new passports in hand. Kudos to the efficient officers at the Shah Alam Immigration Office.

Wehad our lunch at the Kyros Kebab at complex PKNS itself...since no home cooking for today....so till then byeee

Cheated.........hate it !!!!

Its such a bad and angry feeling .......thats how it felt for being cheated ( a first time ) when buying furnitures !! this is how it goes........my sis and I went  looking  to buy a two door wardrobe and a super single divan set as we went from shop to shop we end up in upscale furniture mall here in Shah Alam.........after going to about two outlets we stepped into an outlet ...NAVANA....in we went and after looking  and my sis like the wardrobe that  she  saw and for myself decided on a nice simple looking super single divan and listed as " on offer " a price marked  way below the normal price.....according to the damned Bangla salesman..........We signed the order invoice and paid a down payment of 400 ringgit for the two items !!! and were   promised a ten days delivery date........we left happy thinking that we made a good purchase !!!!!

After waiting for ten days no calls as promised      awaiting another day I decided to call the handphone no. given the salesman, the same one that attended us said that he will look  into it and to give me a call in a few minutes ..... the few mins turned into the whole day.......the same thing happened the following day......I was  already at my nerves end....we decided to go to the outlet to see for ourselves and what we saw was indeed so unexpected... the outlet dark and closed all chained and bolted WHAT !!!!!!!
after making several calls a voice answered giving us phone numbers supposedly being NAVANA's main outlet in WangsaMaju....after calling the number a man .. also a bangla told me that the Shah Alan outlet is in some kind of problem and no worries the Wangsa Maju outlet can make the delivery (after being given the  order invoice numbers) and to this date and after several calls NOTHING... no delivery and calls went unanswered....  one exact month from the first promised date !!!!!!
The amount paid  is not a big amount  but the anger  ...the bad feeling of being cheated is undescribeable.... what next........to make a police report????? over the amount of 400 ringgit.....will the police entertain?......those questions are playing in my mind ...or just to let go!!!!! those who can read this please avoid anywhere  this outlet NAVANA......damned!!!!

Angry... yes but  I still have to cook for the family ....so today its lemak chilli padi ikan senangin.......daging bakar cecah chilli kicap and sambal udang ...thats it.  So till then byeeeeee

Monday after a nice week-end !!!

Back again after a nice relaxing week-end. Had my youngest brother and his family slept over the weekend and had a happy time playing and entertaining his toddler son's antics and playfulness. he's a real heartrob !!! his favourite food ......fries and fried chicken from nowhere  else but Mc D... ask him what he wants and its the same thing he'll reply each time........ and a young age......he's going to be four coming May..... he doesn't fancy any toys like a kid his age ........but you give access to a laptop and he can be at it for hours clicking away on youtube on his favourite subject........Cats,,,,,,funny cats ....playful cats ......even talking cats changing one episodes after another BY himself....and you can hear him giggles and laughs. he's just adorable and polite little boy who will ask your permission if he wanted anything be it just a pen , a piece of paper or if he wanted to drink if he sees a drink on the table.

Thats my little nephew Djan ....his nickname ! hopefully ..Inshaallah he'll grow up to be a wonderful, healthy and  obedient as he is now ....being an only child he's the pride and joy of his parent and also to the rest of my family.

For today our meals are gulai pucuk paku.......ayam kuah madu and  ikan kembong balado !!!!!

My adorable djan....

A sunny Friday

Thank God for the fine weather........ a cool bright Friday !!! and as he promised the gardener turned up this morning and thanks to him the garden is  so trimmed and proper... the grass mowed... the trees well cut and  trimmed . hopefully it won't rain as much cause the grass will grow faster  when it rains   everyday.

I always loves Friday cause the next day will come the week-end....... and week-ends means almost no cooking... less housework and less stress!!

For today what I prepared for the family are just gulai telor.........daging paprik and sawi oyster sauce!!!!!!

Rainy morning!!!!

Woke up to a wet morning today after an allnight rain and still raining  this morning making me feel like cuddling up in bed ..... but alas theres the housework .....cooking etc. waiting for me downstairs so like it or not .... the usual routine has to go on minus the washing ....it has to hold ...not likeable to do washing on a rainy day.......what else has to be onhold....  yup ! our part time gardener also called to say he could not come as he should today cause its raining !!!! and the lawn need  to be mowed as the grass has overgrown and the trees need trimming badly  but  thats how it is when its raining ....everything has to be postpone.He promised to come tomorrow  and lets hope it won't rain again'.

The rain also makes  one feels extra hungry right.......I settled for a big tuna cheese sandwich with a cup of my favourite teh tarik .......instant as it comes in those packages now ... very handy indeed!!!
For the family meal today....its chicken rendang .... sambal goreng petai / bilis and tumis bayam......so till then byeeeee

First day of school 2011...

The first day of school today broungt about a tinge of sadness for me when seeing my second boy out the front door to school on his first day of his last year in school smartly decked in his  prefect's uniform.......being a fifth former at that !!....... it was just like a few years ago that I'd walked him to kindergarden in the neighbourhood where we used to live ... than his first day  in primary school and six years later to form 1 in secondary school and now in his last year of secondary schooling ......how times really just flies........and Inshaallah soon enough he"ll be in college somewhere like his elder brother is now.

Bringing both of them up and now seeing them all grown into fine young men albeit the few tears ,hardship and anxious moments along the way was a joy that I'll never forsake for anything else in the world!!!! and I can hardly wait for them to both graduate and each have a career  of  their own for their future livelihood !!!

Now our meals for today... well since waking up earlier than usual today we had rebus ubi kayu and sambal bilis for breakfast...... lunch .......gulai nangka....... ayam kicap pedas...... and the sambal bilis...and exceptional for tea time its bingka ubi...... ok then  thats for now and byeeee!!

 

1st Jan 2011 A brand new year ahead

Welcoming a new year with a fresh mind hoping for the best in everything for what to come ....Insaallah.

Woke up this morning to a clear bright morning .......after a late night... culminating with a spectacular fireworks display welcoming the new year !!!! where..........right in the front porch of my own house .....the fireworks......from the icity......less than a mile from my house.... but the whole  spectacular fireworks beamed in the sky like just  a few metres away.........BEAUTIFUL

Late in the afternoon my sisters and I spent a very beautiful afternoon shopping and dining out at the Empire Shopping .....  a rather late lunch at Ole Ole Bali where surprisingly  we had a nice meeting with our nieces...my eldest bro's daughters!!!!! with hugs and kisses aside our lunch was Balinese soto ayam and  a baked chicken set. Sorry folks  forgot the pics  this time  !!!!!! So I'll be back again soon ,byeeeee
